We work every day to reduce accidents as much as possible, as well as to create, maintain and spread the culture of working in environments with controlled risks and safer processes.

TRAINING

With the purpose of ensuring that employees know, acquire and master the knowledge, tools and skills necessary to comply in a timely manner with the Safety, Health and Environment program.

BRIGADES

First aid, fire fighting, communication, search and rescue (among others) brigades are formed to promote training, education and technical training.

ELABORATION OF EHS PLAN FOR THE WORK IN COORDINATION WITH EACH OF OUR SUBCONTRACTORS

This increases knowledge and culture in construction work, informs people about risks, improves safe work planning by bridging the gap between the Copachisa EHS system and daily work.

BASIC INTRODUCTORY COURSES FOR ALL NEW PERSONNEL

To show the safe way of working in our group, emphasis is placed on how to comply with the Safety, Health and Environment Regulations and provisions.

CREDENTIALING OF ALL PARTICIPANTS IN OUR PROJECTS

Credential issued to all personnel who have taken an induction course, in order to identify themselves on site, as well as to control operators and safety violations.

WEEKLY PUBLICATION OF COMICS ON SECURITY ISSUES

With messages that address security issues in a fun way.

WEEKLY MONITORING OF SAFETY, HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENTAL STATUS AT ALL CONSTRUCTION SITES

In order to evaluate each subcontractor on site, different values are given to the faults recorded depending on their seriousness, thus encouraging evaluation and improvement.

DAILY TRAINING FOR ALL PERSONNEL AT THE BEGINNING OF THE WORKING DAY (FORUM)

Prepared according to the type and progress of each project, it is used to give warnings on a specific topic, risks to be faced during the day. Calisthenics exercises are included.

HEALTH WEEK

It is prepared in coordination with the Health Sector to attend to aspects such as: blood pressure measurement, diabetes detection, cholesterol measurement, intestinal deworming, and completing the vaccination schedule.

SAFE RETURN TO WORK PLAN BEFORE COVID-19

With the purpose of providing maximum safety to workers when entering each project, following protocols such as taking temperature, use of masks, health questionnaire, promoting a healthy distance, placing hand washing and disinfection areas.

SIGNALING OF RISKS AND CONTROLS ON SITE

With the purpose of identifying, signaling, protecting and controlling risks.

FOLLOW UP ON THE IMPROVEMENT OF SANITATION, FOOD AND WATER SERVICES FOR PERSONNEL

Sanitation services are monitored, the preparation and sale of food on site is followed up, and the supply of drinking water is ensured.

REDUCE THE IMPACT ON THE ENVIRONMENT

Through the administration and control of water on site; the origin of aggregate materials, the destination of garbage and waste, the destination of topsoil and debris, oils, lubricants and contaminating materials, waste materials, the origin of wood.

ADDRESSING THE MAIN ASPECTS OF THE ENVIRONMENT AT THE CONSTRUCTION SITE

Flora, fauna, soil, air emissions, noise, water use, wastewater, hazardous chemicals and waste, as well as training in these aspects.
